I am married, so the meaning of your wedding day is not lost on me. I know how much this day means to you, but also to your family and friends. I also know that there will be little memory of all that is happening afterwards – and that you will rely on your photos to fill the gaps.
This is how I approach your big day…
You and your memories are always at the front of my mind. I want to create something for you, which will stay with you forever. I want my photos to remind you how perfect you felt, and what an unbelievable day you had. In a way which feels authentic and true.
Mostly hiding in the background…
For much of the day, I will stay in the background, follow you around and photograph things as they happen. You could call this photojournalistic wedding photography. But at certain times, for example during your couple portrait session after the ceremony, I will set up shots and give you some direction. There will not be any stiff poses or fake smiles – my aim to is get relaxed and happy photos of you as a couple, looking your best!
I think a huge part of my job is helping you look your most stunning in your wedding photos – while still being true to yourself. This is only possible when you feel relaxed and comfortable with being photographed – and we’re going to make sure of that through the engagement photo session, which is part of all my packages.
